Alex Chilsen

Alex Chilsen is an accomplished pianist, vocalist, composer, accompanist, and music director who has been an active part of the Greater Milwaukee music and performing arts scene for years.

His diverse musical career has taken him from live entertainment and piano performance to musical theater, chamber music, vocal ensembles, and professional accompaniment. Alex has also worked as a showband pianist and piano-bar entertainer, bringing a broad range of musical experience to every performance.

Alex’s talent as a keyboard player was recognized when he was nominated for Keyboards of the Year at the 2017 Wisconsin Area Music Industry (WAMI) Awards, placing him among a group of respected Wisconsin musicians recognized for their work in the state’s music industry.

As both a pianist and vocalist, Alex brings versatility, musicality, and an engaging stage presence to his live performances. His background as a music director and accompanist also gives him a unique ability to create polished, expressive arrangements while connecting naturally with an audience.
