LET IT BE PRESENTS
jazzing it for the american heart association
Fessor Hurst and His Windy Hill Wizards
Join us for an evening of jazzy fun while benefiting the American Heart Association. Our fundraising efforts will support lifesaving research that filters right back to our local communities. The Wisconsin Chapter of the American Heart Association states “The American Heart Association is committed to driving equitable health impact in Wisconsin through five key priority areas: women, readiness, tobacco and vaping, patients, and healthy living… Through our focus on these key impact areas, and with collaboration among local organizations, sponsors, businesses, and others that serve the community, we are working to improve the health and well-being of Wisconsin citizens while saving and improving countless lives.”
We are so excited to support the important work the American Heart Association is doing in our state and across the country. Professor Craig Hurst, who leads our entertainment for the night: ‘Fessor Hurst and His Windy Hill Wizards, is no stranger to the impact heart disease can have on someone’s life- he’s lived it. Criag needed a replacement of his aortic valve and a tear in his aorta repaired, both serious surgeries. After his life changing heart procedure, Craig participated in cardiac rehab where he met the care team that would help him live a more heart healthy lifestyle and help him continue to play the music that he loves.
All funds raised at the door, as well as any tips to the band will be donated by the Cardiopulmonary Rehab team to the American Heart Association in support of this year’s SE Wisconsin Heart Walk.
