Keith started his musical adventures being inspired by the love of music shown to him by his parents at a young age. At the age of nine he took up the piano and learned the written language of music. With guitarist Gare Hofstad, he has created a guitar duo called String Theory, featuring a repertoire of traditional jazz, blues, classic rock and Latin. With the addition of vocalist Julie Thompson the duo morphed into a trio called Julie Thompson and String Theory.
